Fisher Residence
Conway Lake, Conway, New Hampshire
Design of a home on a sloped peninsula with each room having views of Conway Lake. The ground level contains the reception area, mud room, stair, guest toilet, with the kitchen open to a greenhouse dining room, a living area with a two-level native stone fireplace, family room, and terrace. Every room has a panoramic view of the lake. The master bedroom/dressing/bath suite connects to the family area. The second level overlooks the ground level and fireplace, and provides a library/study, guest bedroom/bath suite. The lower level attaches to a five level guest/family bedroom/bath/stair tower, which can be closed when not in use. The tower is capped with a large entertainment room/kitchenette/bar with a dumbwaiter, offering short/long range views to the lake and Mt. Washington beyond. A walkway from the terrace descends to a beach/boating/outdoor cooking/dining/dock/water sports/storage area on the lake.
